Catching up: A respiratory bug has hit and we've spent the week coughing, sneezing, blowing noses and hacking up lungs. Unfortunately we were short-staffed at work, so I wasn't able to take off, thus I'm sure to have infected half of the city by now. The down side to both of us being sick is that no one wants to do the chores. The up side to both of us being sick is that we can get it over faster and be done with it. Bonus: a certain chocolate lab puppy has the amazing ability to stay in the bed for long hours, much like a hot water bottle, and keep two human adults warm.

aawwww! such a cutie - glad he knows how to take care of his two-legged pack members! but it must stink when you are BOTH sick - and nobody wants to go feed animals, muck out stalls, fill water troughs, turn out into fields and get back into stalls again - that's when you need another biped with opposable thumbs!

The bipeds with opposable thumbs who help out around here (Son & Girlfriend) are the ones who got us sick to begin with! 4 adults - all sick! Not a happy household! The good news is that we all appear to be on the mend!

I hope you ALL get over the bug quickly now and feel much better! Keep warm and healthy! Who knew that a Lab puppy could stay still long enough to keep people warm in bed? What a good little pup he is! I'm sure he goes zooming when he gets outside.
Terri is 6 years and she still zooms like a maniac the next day if she misses her daily run. Actually, she acts like a dog doing protection sports and runs straight at me at top speed, swerving to miss me by inches at the last second. I can see how that could scare a criminal, given a larger male Terv or Mal coming at you at that speed ;-)
