After an extensive search through every pet supply store around here, I went to Bass Pro Shop to buy Dillon a camouflage puppy collar. Finding a suitable collar wasn't too hard. After all, in Bass Pro Shop, your choices are camouflage or neon orange. That's it.

I was in a hurry, (What's new?) so I grabbed the collar and ran to the checkout. Now here's where it gets a bit strange. . .

I'm standing in the checkout line at a major hunting/fishing manly-man guy store when I just happen to read the warning label on the puppy collar.

Excuse me?

Am I the only one who was dumbfounded by this?

I'm just askin'. . .

The manufactures response to the question of, "Why isn't it suitable for humans?" would be interesting to see.... Perhaps the range of adjustment is such that it won't correctly fit humans??? :-)

I'm with Eric! And, otherwise, ROTFLMAO!!!!! You could have a lot of fun with that, given that Dillon's name is transferrable between dogs and humans ;-) PS. Do we get to see pictures of the handsome young man in his new cammo collar????

Dillon is still too little for his new collar. It was a small collar but he is still a little tyke. He's wearing Alice the Bloodhound's red Garfield & Odie collar. Red doesn't look good on him, but he won't be in it long. Soon he'll graduate to his new camouflage collar. (with the weird tag!)

Ohhh, doncha love the many idiot warning notices on the products we buy. My favorite, found on a package of Tilapia Fillets, was "Allergens: contains fish"

The manufacturer's intent is to warn kinky hunters who wish to impress their girlfriends with a camouflage dog collar (AKA sex toy). Wait ... scratch that ... is this a GP website? <grin>

If you were in Chandler, Arizona, I would say the city ordered the tag to be placed on the collar. Go to google.com and search for Chandler Arizona toilet water warning

Didn't you mention something about someone's ghost standing over their body and thinking, "This is NOT going to look good." ???? Maybe the tag will save them some embarrassment...
