While I was coughing, doing my taxes, and sleeping, look who grew up!

Aaaaaand then everything went out of focus because Mommy forgot there were sheep in the yard when she went outside with a puppy and a camera.

She's so cute!! Did she herd the sheep and goats in the yard?

Oh my, no! She would love to but only two of those sheep were ever knee-knockers and now they are wily creatures who would mow her over to escape. I need to put them in a smaller area with no barriers and have Lily work them enough that they flock around my legs and don't try to beat toddlers in a foot race. Mesa needs every chance to succeed. Half-wild sheep isn't a good start. Instead, from time to time, she gets to go into the buck pen and feed the boys. They kinda flock and she gets to gather them around the feeders.

Isn't it amazing how fast that change from land shark to tteeage is. About the herding - you are a wise and patient woman, and your dog will never shut down or stop learning. Hate when I see people risk the future for brag rights.

Oh Lordy! I could never claim bragging rights to anything my guys did as toddlers regarding herding because I think that's genetic, and I'm not their breeder. The only credit I could ever claim is raising a well-mannered monster puppy, and that all depends upon what day of the week it is!
